Splatterpunk and extreme horror author Post-Mortem (Adam Wonderly) resides in Ohio with his family of five. He self-published his debut novel titled ‘Us’ last year on his birthday, October 29th 2023. Since then, he has published stories in different anthologies along with the book titled ‘Tales from the Slaughterhouse’, his own personal collection of short stories. Along with his two younger children, he also published a spooky children’s book. Additionally, he has co written a book titled ‘Brothers in Blood Volume 1 with his friend, fellow author Thomas Stewart. With many titles written and waiting on the editors, Post-Mortem has prepared to take the horror literature community by storm.
Post-Mortem has supplied blurbs for various young authors, helping them get on their feet with publishing. As an indie author, he knows how challenging and overwhelming it can be for first-time authors. He is very supportive within the horror community.
Post writes and operates with an “all in” mentality, with no room for procrastinating-it’s now or never. He developed his determination and ambition while in therapy for his Traumatic Brain Injury. His recovery was perhaps the most challenging obstacle he has faced in his life.
Adam is a soft-spoken charismatic guy that shines in the light. Loyalty is the building block of his foundation. Within his writing, Post-Mortem thrives in the darkness. His darker side is his protector. After his near death experience, his resurrection from the afterlife has granted his fingertips to have a unique talent that empowers his writing. Post-Mortem’s writing focuses on bringing darkness and emotion to literature like never seen before.

I don't know if I would be able to find a book that is more gory and dark than this book was. Its a challenge I'm willing to accept , but I don't think it's going to happen. This book had me shocked from the beginning to the end. If you have trigger warnings, make sure that you know what this book is about before you dive in. This will definitely be an October read every year.

Splatter with a Story! Red Dragon meets American Psycho (the book) mixed with the supernatural. This wild ride kept me guessing what was going to happen next. Fast paced. Great character development, Quite possibly some of the weirdest scenarios I've ever read. I'm picky with splatterpunk, but this book has a fantastic story line. I need more lol cause I don't think it's over yet.

Phenomenal story line that sucks you in and keeps you engaged that plays like a movie in your head. This book tugs on every emotion possible making you feel things throughout the story. Short chapters that bounce around perfectly. A bad ass roller coaster for fans of extreme horror. Buckle up it's a wild heart felt and sick ride!
